It’s been a fascinating 40 years.

From the Allied Occupation of Berlin during the Cold War, to the opening of the Wall and German Unification, breaking news stories have never stopped. I’ve been fortunate to cover these events aboard battle tanks, helicopters, military aircraft and firetrucks… Into coal mines, WWII bunkers and on-stage throughout Germany, France, Belgium, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Bosnia, and Turkey.

I’m a former Germany correspondent for European Journal (PBS-TV), First Business (BIZNET-TV/CONUS Communications), Marketplace News (Public Radio International), CNBC, JN1 and moderator for Deutsche Welle TV. I’ve also provided documentary programming to CBC, Dutch TV, Germany’s N-TV and RTL.

Today I produce mostly 5-10 minute multimedia reports and documentaries for international broadcasters and publishers. A one-hour documentary highlighting the costs of German Unification, entitled “Growing Together Again”, will be completed in 2027.

Additional services include on-camera training for journalists and managers, as well as corporate videos. Many productions include broadcast archives from 1980-2020.
